Are your designs exclusive to Vinnieday.com?

A selection of our designers are exclusive of our website. However you can found our our selective stockists most of designs however have can be found on our selective stockists. Please have a look at our stockists page to find the nearest shop to you.

What materials do you use?

Stirling Silver and 24k gold with a satin finish with semi-precious stones.

Are the stones real?

Yes they are. Vinnie Day only sells jewellery made with real precious or semi-precious stones. Where they are significant, stone weights have been included in the product descriptions. If a product contains diamonds and another stone type as well, the weight listed is the total diamond weight.

Will my item come in a box?

Yes, all items are delivered to you in our Vinnie Day gift box which is a hand made box with leaves on it.

Is gift-wrapping available?

Yes. Gift-wrapping is available for an additional £4.50 for each item. Simply check the gift wrap box before you add an item to your basket.

Is VAT charged on-line?

VAT is charged at 17.5% and is included in the retail price. We are not able to handle VAT exempt sales over the web, please call +44 (0) 207 823 7221 for any further inquiries.

Can I order from overseas?

Yes. Either place your order online or call us on +44 (0) 207 823 7221. Your price will be shown in £s, $s or Euros depending on what you choose. The actual transaction on your card will leave your account in £’s. There is no extra charge for this. Please call us or email at vinnie@vinnieday.com to know how much it costs to send to your area.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following means of payment: Visa, MasterCard and Switch.

How will I know that my order was accepted?

You will receive a confirmation that your order has been processed. We will ship your order when all data, including credit card information, has been approved. In order to process your order, the cardholder’s name must match the name of the billing address, and the billing address must match that of the purchasing card.

Can I return merchandise purchased at the Vinnie Day boutique online?

You may return via certified mail to the show room at 15 Albert Mews, London W8 5RU. Please call to let us know you will send the design back to us and we will refund you as soon as we get it.

How can I get a refund?

We are very happy to refund you if for any reason you change your mind. We will process your return promptly upon return of your purchase by recorded delivery, however refunds generally appear on your credit card statement in one to two billing periods. Your refunds will be credited back to the same card used to make the original purchase.

Are all products in your Vinnie Day show room available online?

Currently, we only offer a select group of our items online. New items are added frequently so come back and visit us again! We have a wider selection of designs at our showroom, so please give us a call to book an appointment.

Do prices differ between your website and your showroom?

We make every attempt to have consistent pricing throughout our affiliate stores and our website. Please call us at+ 44 207 823 7221 from 10 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday if you have any questions about our pricing.

What if I have questions about the products offered online?

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, we encrypt all information sent via the Internet, so that data arrives privately and securely at its destination. For your security your credit card details will not be saved in our system, so we will have no record of your credit card details.

If you are still uncertain about placing your order via the Internet, we encourage you to call your order into our showroom at +44 207 823 7221. You are very welcome to come to our showroom and buy with cash, cheque or credit card machine.

When is my credit card charged?

Items are charged to your card when we ship your order. If an item is on backorder, you will not be charged until it ships. All freight charges are pro-rated on the value of your shipment.

How do I order offline?

To place an order offline, please call + 44 207 823 7221 or + 44 7985 614 722 and we are very happy to do it for you.

Can the length on a necklace be altered?

Yes, we can alter the length. If you would like an item altered, please call our customer service department at + 44 207 823 7221 to arrange details. There will be additional charges for alterations.

I purchased an item from Vinnieday.com and it broke. Can I send it back for repair?

Yes, we will repair merchandise. If you have a repair, please contact us at + 44 207 823 7221, to obtain a return authorization. We will need to discuss your needs and the charges apply.

I would like to purchase a gift for someone else. Can you send the gift directly to her with a gift receipt?

Yes, you can ship an order to an address that differs from your billing address. If the order is a gift, please select that at checkout and send an email to let us know it is a gift.

I’m starting my Holiday shopping early. What is the holiday return policy?

All items purchased in the month of December may be returned for a full refund until January 31 of the following year.

How do I care for my jewellery?

All pieces should be stored in your Vinnie Day boxes. This will help prevent scratches on the stone and metal surfaces. Although some stones are more sensitive than others, it is best to keep all stones away from extreme heat and sudden changes in temperature. We recommend applying hair sprays and fragrances before putting on your jewellery, especially when wearing soft, porous stones or gold plated pieces as the gold plated may react with the scent. Always remove your jewelry before washing to prevent soap build up. It is beneficial to wear your jewelry often. The natural oils in your skin help to keep your stones and metals clean and conditioned.

Will you help me choose a present for someone else?

Yes. We provide a personal stylist service where we will help you choosing the right gift. We will need the person’s age, gender, a brief description about them and how much you want to spend and we will put together the ideal gift list for you, wrap them and deliver them with your note. Once you have approved the gift , we will ask you to send through your recipients’ addresses and any message for the gift card you would like us to write.

DELIVERY

How long will my packages take and how will they be shipped?

All orders are processed within one business day of receipt. In stock items will generally reach you within 1-3 days. If you require next day shipping, please contact us by phone and we will do our best to get your order to you within 24hrs. If your delivery is overseas then your order could take up to 1 week.

What shipping method will be used?

We use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Your package will arrive within 3 to 4 days. You will need to be there in person to sign for your package. If you are not at home Royal Mail will leave a delivery note instructing you to collect your parcel from the post office. Because Vinnie Day Jewellery delivers expensive jewellery, we have to use the Royal Mail special delivery service and not other couriers so that our parcels are insured. We do hope it is convenient for you. If you have comments or suggestions our customer services team would like to hear from you.

Can I collect my jewellery from you?

Yes. We are based in Central London (Gloucester Road). Call us to arrange a time and you can collect your jewellery from our offices.

Can I come to your showroom and view the jewellery?

Yes. Please feel free to call us on +44 207 823 7221 and make a special appointment to view the collection or to see and feel a specific piece of jewellery. We are based in Gloucester Road in Central London and would be delighted to meet you in person and assist with your jewellery shopping. Please advise which pieces you are interested in before coming so that we can make sure we can put together a collection of pieces to show you.

If I want an item which is out of stock, when can I expect it?

We carry many items in stock, however, there are some collections which may be on re-order or need to be specially ordered for you. Upon ordering, you will be charged a half deposit. We will make every effort to expedite your special order and to be realistic in our estimated delivery time. Please have patience, as your special order is being made especially for you and can generally take from two to eight weeks. We will communicate exact times to you by email or phone before you place your order. Naturally, special orders are final sales.
